One of the advantages of looking at a Pit Bull from an online ad is that you would be able to see the Pit Bull picture first before deciding whether or not you should buy it. Looking at the Pit Bull picture online will save you the time and trouble of driving down to the location and then realizing that the Pit bull you are looking at is not exactly the one you have in mind.

We all have heard about the strong and powerful reputation of the Pit Bull. But what do they look like? How can you make sure that you are getting a Pit Bull and not some other type of breed that share some of their physical characteristics?

By looking at a Pit Bull picture, you can determine if you are truly looking at a Pit Bull by looking for certain characteristics that all Pit Bulls share. According to the United Kennel Club standard, here is what you should look for when looking at an ideal Pit Bull picture:

When looking at a Pit Bull picture, his head should be brick-like in shape and of medium length. The skull should be flat and widest at the ears. He should also have prominent cheeks without any wrinkles.

The muzzle should be square- shaped, deep, and wide. Jaws should be well-defined, exhibiting the dog's strength. When looking at the Pit Bull picture, any color is ok however check to see if they are round and set far apart, low down the skull.

Looking at the Pit Bull picture, check his ears. Whether cropped or uncropped, they should be set high on the head and wrinkle free. Any nose color is acceptable and the nostrils have to be wide and open.

When looking at the Pit Bull picture, see if you can observe the back. It should be short and slightly arched at the loins. His legs should be large and round-boned.

The dog's legs should be large and round-boned, as well as have straight and upright pasterns. The pit bull picture should show legs that are reasonable strong. The feet should not be too large but rather medium in size.

Last but not least, the pit bull picture should show a neck that is muscular and slightly arched. The neck should also taper down from the shoulder to the head.
